- Old CDHS reference 976. There are no entries in the card. Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester, was the younger brother of King Edward VIII and King George VI. He visited Australia in 1934 for Victoria's centenary and was in Canberra in October that year when he attended the State Ball. He was Governor General of Australia from 1945 to 1947 when he and his family lived at Yarralumla. See also Realia 1999-21.
