- Martha Southwell was daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Southwell. Married Samuel Adolphus Shannon at St John's Church Canberra on 22 August 1899. Lived at Uriarra and late Dodsworth St Queanbeyan. Died on 31 January 1948.
