- The Ainslie Cricket Ground was located near the north Lyneham shops in front of Jack Southwell's 'Rosevale' property. Shumack farmed at Kia Ora (part of Lyneham). Edwards was a public servant and Cox was a Lands Inspector. Shumack and Edwards both served in World War 1.
- This was the second ground used by Ainslie. The first ground was near the site of Lyneham Primary School. In the 1930s a new ground was built at the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Mouat Street.
