Portrait of Charles Alphonse Massy, c.1885. Charles Massy (c.1821-1888) arrived in the Canberra district in 1843. In 1851 he married Charlotte Renton Stuart. He owned extensive property in Gundaroo and built the homestead 'Stoneville' in 1879.
