Summary
Programme for February featured films on Sydney Harbour, Samuel McCaughey, the Duke and Duchess of York in 1927 and the inauguration of the Commonwealth in 1901 as well as a tape recording about the Strzelecki controversy. There was an invitation to Throsby Park, a report on the arrival of locomotive 1210 to be permanently displayed at Canberra Railway Station, a CDHS exhibition at the Canberra Tourist Bureau for Canberra Day and the donation of convict leg irons from Norfolk Island. CDHS representations to fence off the Plan Room at Capital Hill were successful and Corkhill's Riverview dairy has been sold.
