- Harriet Southwell was born on 31 May 1843, daughter of John and Lucy Southwell. Arrived in Sydney on 20 August 1858. Married John Boyd (son of Alexander Boyd and Jean Tinsley nee Black) on 31 January 1864 at St John's Church Canberra. Had five children. Second marriage to William Dunn (son of John and Ann Dunn nee Smith). Died in 1870.
