- Jane Cavanagh (nee Meade) arrived in Australia on 'Panama' on 13.09.1849 with children Ann, Honor and Patrick. Her husband Thomas arrived in Australia on convict ship 'Eliza' on 06.08.1832. Worked on Duntroon Estate, later leased land at Canberra and finally selected land at One Tree Hill, Ginninderra.
