- The article examines the return of the body to Australia (for burial at Duntroon) of Major-General Sir William Throsby Bridges and the role played by the Governor-General, Sir Ronald Munro-Ferguson and his wife, Lady Helen Munro-Ferguson. Bridges is the only identified body to be repatriated from World War 1. He died from wounds sustained at Gallipoli.
