- On 21 February 1973 the new town of Tuggeranong was inaugurated. The Newsletter article discusses some of the visions the planners had for Tuggeranong and its town centre. A plaque was unveiled on Tuggeranong Trig in the middle of Oxley by government ministers Tom Uren and Kep Enderby.
