- Henry 'Jo' Gullett was born in 1914. His father was a senior cabinet minister who died in an air crash near Canberra Airport in 1940. Jo served in World War II and in 1945 won the Federal seat of Henty, which he represented until 1955. For many years he held the lease over the Farrer's former property, Lambrigg. His life has been chronicled in 'Not As a Duty Only' and 'Good Company'.
