Notes
A master builder, he built Yarralumla Homestead in 1891, its dairy (later known as Riverview) and the spire of St. John's church in Reid amongst many local projects. He was born in Braidwood in 1854 and died in 1943. He also supervised the laying of the commemoration stone for the naming of Canberra on 12 March 1913.
