Notes
During 1918 the gun, mounted on a railway carriage, was used by the Germans to shell Amiens in France about 25kms away. It was captured by Australian troops on 8 August 1918. Between 1923 ans 1927 the gun was stationed at the Molonglo Siding. It was then displayed near the Canberra Railway Station from 1927 to World War 2 when most of it was taken for scrap metal. The barrel is on display at the Australian War Memorial.
