Astley Pulver arrived in Canberra in 1925 and worked as a surveyor with Percy Sheaffe and Harry Mouat for five years. He discusses RMC Duntroon, the Sydney Building, the Cotter catchment, the lake scheme, the Murrumbidgee traverse at Tantangara and provides a brief history of Canberra, St. John's and the Campbell family.
