- Notes
- Joseph Kaye (1809-1895), Queanbeyan and Canberra pioneer, arrived in Australia in 1832. From 1838 to 1844 he was in partnership with William Hunt as licencees of the Elmsall Inn at Queanbeyan. In 1844 he moved to Springbank, Canberra with his wife Eliza.
